You've done your research about starting an online business with thoughts of earning extra income working from home.
Making money online can be challenging when you're just starting out. A vital tool for aspiring online marketer's, an autoresponder.
An autoresponder is a software tool that automatically replies to an e-mail message with a pre-written response when that e-mail comes to a specific e-mail or Internet address.
You will realize very quickly that knowing how to use an autoresponder effectively will be a tremendous advantage when working online.
There are autoresponder's available you can use free when getting started, if money is tight.
Although, the "free ones" typically come with a downside.
For example, non relevant ads show up in your emails that could potentially take away from the real message you are trying to convey to your audience. Overall, you are limited in your uses with the free versions.
The first order is to get your messages together as they relate to your business and load them into your autoresponder.
Include content that pertains to your business that will be beneficial to your readers.
Start out by writing your own email messages. This task may seem daunting at first, but the more you practice, the faster and better you'll become.
Shoot for 52 messages scheduled to go out at least once per week.
That way you'll have emails going to your email list for a full year.
There are places on the internet to get free content if you have difficulty writing that many messages. Remember, you should always try and write your own, but it's ok to fudge every now and then as long as you are offering good material.
You don't have to write all your emails at once. Add a few at a time, and before you know, your autoresponder will be full.
When you've finished loading your messages, it's good to include your signature.
A picture is good also. I believe it's always good to put a face with a name. Both your signature and picture (if you prefer) will be displayed at the bottom of each message sent. This will help in branding both yourself and your company. It will also portray you as professional. Remember to include your business link or website url.
You should now be good to go, emails are loaded and ready to be sent.
This process is truly set it and forget it. Your autoresponder will send your messages automatically once you have it set up.
Remember we talked earlier about 52 emails scheduled to go out once a week for a year? You can send messages daily if you prefer. Write one email and send it to your entire list on the spot, or schedule it to go out later in the day. This is the "broadcast" feature of your best autoresponder.
There's a slight learning curve if you've never used an autoresponder before. With a bit of dabbling though, you'll be up and running in no time. They are flexible and extremely easy to use once you get the knack.
When you begin to get more and more subscribers to your email list, you'll quickly realize just how beneficial an autoresponder really is to your email marketing efforts.
In a short time of learning how this fantastic tool works, you'll begin to see the many benefits this online marketing tools have too offer.
